Exercise Phase 2
Definition: the period during which more vigorous therapeutic exercise can be used to facilitate function and improve performance.
Objective: achieve an optimal level of flexibility, muscular strength and endurance
Isometric and isometric-isotonic neck work
Wall-based breathing, posture and scapular control
Floor exercises for upper back, core and lower back with resistance
Progressing from Phase 1
Phase 2 is introduced once pain-free range of motion has improved. Progression is based on your clinical findings, not on a fixed calendar. Perform only the exercises your provider has assigned.
